He had the honor of dining with Lord Nelson at the house of is uncle, Captain Richard WILLIAMS at 1804.
He enter the Navy 25th March 1805 and promoted lieutenant the 11th February 1815. Master of the Raisonable. Lieutenant on the HM Revenue Vessel Royal George (1827-1854), Carrickfergus (Tons 149, Crew 33) at 27th February 1843.
Last work - In charge of Irish Coast Guard Station after the 17th April 1848 at Ardmore Station as Chief Officer.
Retired the 24 February 1864.
In 1876, he died when he was 84 years old.
Richard Williams stay in Ireland and create "The Irish Branch of the Charlesson".
